Industrial Tapes & Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. (INTAF) is a privately held organization incorporated in 1975 and opened its first factory in Kolkata, India to manufacture various insulating products. In 1985, another factory was setup in Jamshedpur which is 4 hours (by train) away from Kolkata which specialises in manufacturing and R&D of INTAF Polyglass Tape and INTAF Putty H-200. INTAF is the recognised market leader in India in the fields of glass banding tape, insulating putty, unvarnished polyester tape and unvarnished glass tape.
Some of our big customers in India are All Indian Railway, BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd), Suzlon, ABB, Alstom, Crompton Greaves, Kirloskar etc. They are successfully using INTAF Polyglass Tape and are very happy with the quality of the product they buy from us. We are approved by RDSO, Ministry of Indian Railways for supply to the All Indian Railway and BHEL.
More than 64 Million Meter of INTAF Polyglass Tape has been sold since 1985 till 2010 and has been consumed successfully. We are selling more than 400,000 meter every month worldwide. INTAF Polyglass Tape is now available in more than 35 countries and is steadily increasing its presence and market share world over. We have many satisfied customers in U.K., Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Sofia, Czech Republic, South Africa, Malaysia, China, Saudi Arab, Turkey, Iran, Singapore, USA, Canada, South America, Brazil and India etc.
